Product Description

Product Description Tris(2-chloroethyl) phosphate is a light yellow oily liquid. It has a light milky smell. It is soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, acetone, esters, aromatic hydrocarbons, chloroform, carbon tetrachloride, and slightly soluble in water. The thermal decomposition temperature is 240-280°C, and the hydrolysis stability is good. It is miscible with general organic solvents, but insoluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons. The refractive index is 1.4745 (20°C), and the boiling point is 194°C (lOmmHg). The freezing point is <-64°C, the flash point is 225°C, the thermal decomposition temperature is 240-280°C, and the hydrolysis stability is good.

Application
Tris(2-chloroethyl) phosphate is widely used in chemical fiber fabrics and cellulose acetate as a flame retardant. In addition to self-extinguishing properties, it can also improve water resistance, cold resistance and antistatic properties. The general dosage is 5 to 10 parts. This product is an excellent flame retardant for synthetic materials and has a good enhancement effect. It is widely used in cellulose acetate, nitrocellulose varnish, ethyl cellulose, polyvinyl chloride, polyvinyl acetate, polyurethane, phenolic resin, etc. The product has self-extinguishing properties and can also improve the physical properties of the product. The product feels soft. It can also be called a petroleum additive and an extractant for rare elements. It is also the main flame retardant material for flame-retardant rubber conveyor belts. The general addition amount is 5% to 10%.
