HPWA antirust pigment is a new type of antirust pigment which is made of aluminum trimellitate as the main body with special modification treatment and surface treatment to further improve the antirust performance. The product is non-volatile white powder, insoluble in water, non-toxic and non-irritating to skin. It does not contain lead, chromium and other harmful heavy metal elements and has good stability. Due to the "double rust prevention" mechanism of aluminum tripolyphosphate, the depolymerization reaction forms tripolyphosphate ion P30105, which has stronger chelating power to Fe+3 ion and various gold ions than P04+3 ion used in phosphate treatment, forming excellent passivation film on the surface of coated objects, which has strong inhibiting effect on the corrosion of steel and other metal objects. HPWA pigment has light specific gravity, small fineness, excellent antirust performance, low cost per unit in the paint, the pigment itself is white, and the paint pigment can be freely mixed.

Recommended Applications
This pigment can effectively replace the traditional toxic antirust pigments such as goose reddan and zinc inscription yellow, and is widely used in various primers and primer-surface coatings, and has good affinity with varnishes, and can be used with various pigments and fillers, and can also be used with various antirust pigments to prepare various high-performance anticorrosion coatings. It is suitable for solvent-based coatings such as phenolic resins, alkyd resins, epoxy resins and acrylic resins, as well as various water-soluble coatings (e.g., highly adaptable water-based epoxy resin dip coating, rusty coatings and asphaltic coatings, zinc-rich primers, fireproof coatings, heat-resistant coatings, etc.)
The recommended addition amount is 20-150 parts per thousand.
Packing and storage
Packed in 25kg plastic bags, stored in a cool and dry place, valid for 24 months.
