Installation Instructions
Basic Surface Treatment

Clean surface	Ensure that there is no oil or other solvent stains on the base surface. You can apply the paint directly on the metal surface.
Slightly rusted surfaces	The rusted area can be cleaned by grinding or covered with a restore-rust primer.
Severely rusted surfaces	Recommend polishing the rust area first and then apply the primer.
Cannot grind the surface for rust removal treatment	Use our special water permeable anti-rust paint for rust prevention treatment.

To ensure optimal protection and longevity when applying anti-corrosive paint, follow these essential steps:
1. Surface Preparation: Begin by thoroughly polishing the basic surface. Remove any existing rust, dirt, grease, or other contaminants using appropriate tools and cleaning agents. This step is crucial to ensure proper adhesion of the paint and to prevent further corrosion.
2. Applying Anti-Rust Primer: Once the surface is clean and dry, apply a layer of anti-rust primer. This primer acts as a protective barrier, preventing rust from forming and providing a suitable base for the top coat. Ensure even coverage and allow the primer to dry according to the manufacturer's instructions.
3. Applying Anti-Corrosive Top Coat: After the primer has dried, proceed to apply the anti-corrosive top coat. This layer provides the main defense against corrosion and environmental factors. Use a brush, roller, or spray gun to achieve an even and smooth finish. Depending on the specific product, you may need to apply multiple coats for optimal protection.
4. Drying Time: Allow the painted surface to dry thoroughly. The drying time typically ranges from 1 to 3 days, depending on the weather conditions and the type of paint used. It's important to follow the manufacturer's guidelines to ensure the coating cures properly and provides maximum protection. Spraying Process:
1. When the painting process is applied with a spray, the nozzle diameter and spraying pressure should be adjusted accordingly. The hose of the spray gun can be freely stretched to the working area. The air pressure of the air compressor should be 0.4 ~ 0.7N/mm2.
2. Generally, the distance between the spray gun and the working surface should be about 100mm. The angle of the spray gun and the steel structure base surface should be kept vertical, or the nozzle should be slightly tilted upward.
3. The nozzle should move parallel to the surface, keeping a stable distance and at a consistent speed to keep the coating uniform when spraying. The general coating thickness is thin on spraying, so it should be sprayed several times, each layer should be sprayed when the last layer of paint film has been dry.
