📦 Product Description:A2 tool steel is a popular air-hardening cold work steel, designed for applications requiring high wear resistance, good toughness, and dimensional stability after heat treatment.
It offers a balanced combination of hardness, strength, and moderate wear resistance, making it ideal for a wide range of tooling and die-making operations. A2 steel is typically supplied in an annealed condition and is easy to machine before hardening.
Compared to oil-hardening steels (such as O1), A2 offers better stability and less distortion during heat treatment.
