2. Hardness parameters
Hardness is one of the most important indicators of rubber flooring, reflecting the softness and elasticity of the flooring material. The higher the hardness index, the harder the floor, and vice versa. The hardness parameter can be measured using Shore A hardness value. In practical applications, rubber flooring with a hardness value between 85 and 95 is usually chosen.
3. Density parameter
The density of rubber flooring refers to the weight per unit volume and is also an important parameter for measuring the quality of its material itself. The density is related to the thickness and material composition of rubber flooring, and the commonly used unit is kilograms per cubic meter. The density of rubber flooring material is generally between 1.5 and 1.65g/cm ³.
4. Tear strength parameters
Tear strength refers to the maximum tensile force that rubber flooring can withstand under tension, and is a key indicator for measuring its durability. Rubber flooring with higher tear strength is safer and more reliable in use. The tear strength of rubber flooring is often measured in KN/m (kilonewtons per meter), and it is commonly required that the tear strength be no less than 20KN/m.
5. Wear resistance parameters
The wear resistance of rubber flooring refers to the material's ability to resist wear and tear. Wear resistance is commonly measured by the amount of wear, and the standard wear of rubber flooring should not exceed 250mm ³. The smaller the wear amount, the better the wear resistance of rubber flooring.
