Bag filter is a new type of filter system. The inside of the bag filter is supported by a metal mesh basket. The liquid flows in from the inlet and flows out from the outlet after being filtered by the filter bag. The impurities are intercepted in the filter bag and can be used continuously after replacing the filter bag.Bag filter can be designed as standard single-bag or multi-bag systems to meet different application requirements.
Work Principle
The working principle of a bag filter is based on filtering particulate matter from the airflow. When the airflow enters the filter, it passes through a series of filter bags made of filtration media such as polyester, nylon, or fiberglass. These filter bags have tiny pores that effectively capture particles, causing them to accumulate on the outer surface of the bags, while the clean gas passes through the filter bags and is discharged from the filter, thereby achieving gas filtration. The collected dust particles form a cake on the surface of the filter bags.
This dust cake actually aids in the filtration process by capturing smaller particles. When the pressure drop across the filter bags reaches a certain level, indicating that the dust cake is too thick, the cleaning system is activated. A pulse of compressed air is sent through the bags in the reverse direction, which knocks off the dust cake into a hopper for disposal and achieving the cleaning effect.
