The working principle of forged steel ball valves is to rotate the valve stem to make the valve unobstructed or blocked. Usually full bore ball valves and 90 degree angle switches are lightweight, small in size, and can be made into large diameters. They have reliable sealing, simple structure, and easy maintenance. The sealing surface and spherical surface are often in a closed state and are not easily eroded by the medium. They are widely used in various industries.
High pressure forged steel ball valves are designed, selected, manufactured, tested, surface treated, and painted in strict accordance with the requirements of the American Society of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) standards to meet the cracking needs of sulfurization applications in sulfurized environments.
This series of ball valves not only has a wide selection of materials, but also uses surface nickel plated 316 material for the internal components and a specially made polymer material for the sealing ring. Valves are not only corrosion-resistant and have strong resistance to sulfurization, but also have good fire resistance, anti-static, and sealing performance. They have a wide range of pressure and temperature, complete full bore and reduced bore, and can be equipped with various driving devices. They are an ideal valve choice for chemical, petroleum torch refining, natural gas extraction and transportation systems.
When the stagnant medium in the valve chamber experiences abnormal pressure increase due to temperature changes, the medium pressure pushes the valve seat away from the sphere, achieving automatic pressure relief. After pressure relief, the valve seat automatically resets.
In addition to general sealing, the specially designed sealing structure of the valve seat can provide emergency rescue in case of leakage due to seal ring damage.
When the sealing ring of the valve seat is burned or softened due to fire or abnormal temperature. The valve operation is still reliable, and at the same time, the valve seat and ball form a metal to metal seal, achieving a temporary sealing effect and preventing the fire from further expanding, in compliance with AP16FA regulations.
Unscrew the exclusion device to check if there is any leakage in the valve seat, and also to discharge the trapped material in the middle chamber to reduce the pollution of the medium on one side of the valve. When the valve is fully open or fully closed in working condition, the valve stem packing box can be replaced.
The valve stem is sealed with PTFE packing and O-ring double sealing, which is particularly suitable for gas media. The moving parts of the valve stem are equipped with high-quality SF self-lubricating bearings, which reduce the friction coefficient and decrease the operating torque.
The three part connection forged steel fixed ball valve divides the valve body into three parts along the section perpendicular to the valve channel axis at the two seat positions. The entire valve is symmetrical left and right along the central axis of the valve stem. It is mainly used on pipelines to cut off, distribute, and change the direction of medium flow. Its large pivot structure ensures accurate center position of the sphere under high pressure, ensuring good operational performance of the valve; The standard valve seat adopts a spring structure, which pushes the valve seat towards the sphere, ensuring good bidirectional sealing performance at the inlet and outlet; By using the built-in discharge valve, the chamber in the valve body can be discharged outward; The pivot adopts an anti blow out protection structure, effectively preventing leakage; Low friction coefficient bearings minimize torque and facilitate valve opening and closing; The effective contact between the valve stem and the valve body results in superior performance of the anti-static grounding device. It has the advantages of excellent performance, high reliability, wide applicability, and reasonable price. Suitable for industries such as chemical, petroleum, natural gas, metallurgy, as well as natural gas long-distance pipelines containing hydrogen sulfide media, high impurities, and severe corrosion.
