In order to prevent the printing legends & Icons on the surface of silicone keypads & buttons from wearing off, most our customers choose matte smooth coating,PU coating,epoxy coating,etc.to protect the surface.
The protective cover depends on the environment where the key would be used PU coating is more wearproof, and protective effects is more better than matte smooth coating. Howerver, PU coating is more expensive, and matte smooth coating have good touch feeling.

The difference between laser etched silicone keys and silk-printed silicone keys:
1. Laser etching is also called laser laser engraving, is one of the silicone button surface treatment technology, mainly used in car key, instrumentation and control panel key, is to use optical principle on the surface of silica gel key-press processing, make the silicone button surface need pattern of characters and symbols, and screen printing surface printing technology is adopted.
2. Touch the characters of the radium keys, there will be a concave feeling, while the characters of the screen printing keys have a convex feeling.But concave convex feeling is very weak, need to experience carefully.
3. If the back of the key with light source irradiation, screen printing key characters will not be transparent, laser etched silicone keys will be transparent background light source.
