Product Description
Product Description
1. Linear tower, also known as intermediate tower. Linear towers are mainly used in straight sections of power lines to support conductors and lightning rods. Under normal operation of the transmission line, straight towers generally do not bear tension in the direction of the line, but bear vertical loads such as the weight of conductors, lightning rods, insulators, fittings, and ice weight
Manufacturer of steel poles for power lines
The horizontal load provided, also known as wind pressure, is only when there is a significant difference in span between the two sides of the tower or when one side of the line breaks, the straight tower will bear the unbalanced tension of the adjacent two levels of conductors.
2. Tension towers, also known as load-bearing towers, anchor type towers, or disconnected towers. Under normal operation, the tension tower not only bears the same load as the straight tower, but also bears the unbalanced tension of the conductors and lightning rods.
