Product introduction
The kerosene smoke point tester is designed and manufactured according to the standard ASTM D1322 Standard Test Method for Smoke Point of Kerosene and Aviation Turbine Fuel. It is suitable for determining the smoke point of kerosene and jet fuel for lamps, that is, the maximum height of the smokeless flame when the sample is burned in a standard lamp under specified conditions, expressed in millimeters.
Smoke point, also known as smokeless flame height, refers to the maximum height of smokeless flame when the sample is burned in a standard lamp under specified conditions, expressed in millimeters (mm). The sample oil burns in a standard luminaire, and the change in flame height is reflected on the background of a millimeter scale. When measuring, raise the wick to a flame with smoke, and then lower it to the point where the smoke tail just disappears. The height of the flame at this point is the smoke point of the sample.
Technical Parameter
1. Ruler: The ruler should be marked with white on the black glass, and the white or black stripe of 2 mm in the center divides the ruler into two equal parts vertically. The measuring range of the ruler should be 50mm with 1mm divisions. Mark numbers every 10mm and use longer lines every 5mm.
2. Wick guide: The top of the wick guide should be exactly at the same level as the zero point on the ruler.
3. Lifting seat: the total stroke distance should not be less than 10 mm, and the movement should be smooth and even.
4. Ф oil accumulator: the oil accumulator is mainly composed of the oil accumulator body, the wick tube and the air duct, etc. Its critical dimension conforms to ASTM D1322, the inner diameter of the oil accumulator body is Ф21.25±0.05, and the length is 109.0±0.05; The inner diameter of the wick tube is Ф4.7±0.05, the length is 82.0±0.05; the inner diameter of the air duct is Ф3.5±0.05, and the length is 90.0±0.05.
