The original segregation, looseness, pores, inclusions, etc. in the steel ingot are compacted and welded together, making the structure denser and improving the plasticity and mechanical properties of the metal. On the other hand, the production of cast pipe fittings mainly relies on molds and models. By pouring molten metal into them, and after cooling, solidification, and finishing treatments, castings with predetermined shapes, dimensions, and properties are obtained and then processed.
