Nitchen polyvinyl acetate solid resins are used as low-profile additives in fiber-reinforced plastics (FRP) composites to achieve zero-shrinkage, class A surface quality, full viscosity control and design flexibility.
Unless a low-profile additive is used in the manufacture of composite parts, high shrinkage will occur. The addition of our pvac resins (polyvinyl acetate) minimizes this shrinkage to less than 0.05 %, resulting in extremely smooth, homogeneous surfaces.
