Calcium nitrate, an inorganic compound, is a white crystalline powder with two crystals. Easily soluble in water insoluble in concentrated nitric acid.
Agricultural calcium nitrate is a typical fast-acting foliar fertiliser, which can act more smoothly on acidic soil, and the calcium in the fertiliser can neutralise the acidity in the soil. It is particularly convenient for regenerative fertilisation of winter crops, post (qualitative) additional fertilisation of cereals, growth fertilisation of over-consumed alfalfa, sugar beet, fodder beet, poppies, maize, green fodder mixtures, and additional fertilisers effective in eliminating deficiencies in plant calcium nutrition.
