EN 13501-2 standard concept:
EN 13501-2 Fire classification of construction products and building elements-Part 2: Classification using data from fire resistance tests, excluding ventilation services
EN 13501-2 Classification tests - Scope:
This part of the European Standard specifies the relevant determination methods for fire resistance and sealing tests on product components and building elements within a certain range of application. This part is not applicable to the determination of the fire resistance of curtain walls. Extensions to the class classification are not within the scope of application of this standard. For the same class classification, the specified instructions of the standard can be used for the scope of application.
For container products, in addition to the wall material being tested according to the vertical structure, the base and ceiling also need to be tested according to the horizontal structure, and the applicable test methods are different.

EN 1365-1: Fire resistance test of walls and partitions (load-bearing or non-load-bearing).
EN 1364-1: Fire resistance test of non-load-bearing partitions (applicable to container internal partitions).
