Aspartame is a low-calorie intensive sweetener discovered by accident in 1965, with two constituent amino acids,L-Aspartic Acid and L-Phenylalanine,both commonly found in daily food.Aspartame is two hundred times sweeter than Sucrose. Aspartame has been approved for human consumption in most countries in the worid and it is used in thousands of products,consumed by hundreds of millions of people worldwide.
