Character: White powder, insoluble in water, decomposed into stearic acid and salt when heated with strong acid
Applications: Zinc Stearate can be used in the manufacturing of non-toxic PVC products, and the performance will be better if use together with Calcium Stearate or Barium Stearate. It can improve the light stability of PVC products. The dosage is about 1% in PVC production while 1-3% as mold release agent in rubber products, as polymer additive in PP, PE, PS and EPS, or in the production of pencil core
