General Introduction
Sodium dichloroisocyanurate (hereinafter is abbreviated to SDIC) is is white crystalline powder and has a strong smell of chlorine gas, containing available chlorine 60% to 64.5%. SDIC can be used as a disinfectant for industrial water, portable water, swimming pool and textile finishing agent. It also can be used for preventive disinfection and disinfection in all kinds of places such as sericulture, livestock, poultry and fish breeding. This product can also be used for finishing wool preshrunk, bleaching in textile industry, removing algae in industrial recirculating water and chlorinating agent for rubber. The product is stable, efficient and has no negative effect for human.
Continuous and Automatic SDIC production plant takes cyanuric acid, TCCA and caustic soda as raw material to produce finished product SDIC. And specification of SDIC as below:
Process Description
Process decription of SDIC Production
Cyanouric acid (solid) reacted with 48% caustic soda solution and clear water, cyanuric acid trisodium salt solution was produced, which then reacted with trichloroisocyanuric acid wet material continuously. After cooling crystallization, solid-liquid separation, mixing granulation and drying, product of sodium dichloroisocyanurate dihydrate (dry and granular material) was obtained.
Process Decription of Mother Liquor Treatment
The mother liquor produced in the sodium dichloroisocyanurate production procedure is recycled in sodium dichlorocyanurate production system completely.
