Product Description As temperatures plummet, rubber and plastic parts enter a transformative phase where they harden, become brittle, and crystallize, gradually losing their innate flexibility. During this brittle phase, these materials are highly susceptible to breakage under external pressure. The flash of molded products, being significantly thinner than the main product, becomes brittle much sooner at low temperatures. Our cutting-edge cryogenic deflashing machine harnesses this principle, operating within the optimal window when the flash is brittle, yet the product retains its elasticity. By deploying high-speed, specialized plastic media, it effectively eradicates brittle burrs without compromising the integrity of the product itself.
FUNCTIONS
This versatile machine excels at eliminating flash from small rubber and plastic components such as O-rings, gaskets, and an array of other molded parts, ensuring pristine product presentation.
Utilizing advanced cryogenic processing technology, flashes are initially frozen before being precisely removed by high-speed projection media (Polycarbonate blast). This process significantly enhances the surface quality of molded rubber and plastic parts.
