Vermiculite Expansion Producer / Vermiculite Expansion Furnace / Expanding Vermiculite Production Line

Vermiculite is a natural, inorganic, non-toxic mineral that will expand under the action of high temperature. After high-temperature roasting, the volume of vermiculite can rapidly expand several times to dozens of times. The expanded vermiculite is called expanded vermiculite. The high-quality expanded vermiculite can reach a maximum temperature of 1100°C.
Expanded vermiculite has good electrical insulation, widely used in thermal insulation materials, fireproof materials, seedlings, flowers, trees, friction materials, sealing materials, electrical insulation materials, refractory materials, smelting, construction and other fields.
Expanded process
The whole system includes equipment: Bucket elevator, Buffer silo, Expansion Furnace , Burning system, Heat exchanger, Cyclone dust collector, Bag Filter, Finished products silo(stock bin), Electric control system, and so on.
Workers put the vermiculite ore into hopper (install a hopper underground to match the bucket elevator), then the bucket elevator will send the vermiculite ore into buffer silo and feed into furnace uniformly by screw conveyor.
The natural gas is burned through the special burner of vermiculite expansion furnace to heat up the expansion furnace. The baffle plate is installed inside of the furnace body to increase the residence time of the material in the furnace body, uniform distribution and better puffing.
Heat exchanger is installed at the exhaust gas outlet of the expansion furnace to cool the exhaust gas, meanwhile supply the hot air for the furnace to save energy. The cooled exhaust gas enters into the cyclone separator for gas-solid separation, then the exhaust gas from the cyclone separator enters into the bag filter to remove dust again to meet the emission standard.
The expanded vermiculite flows out from the bottom of the furnace, and then be sent to the big silo through blow fan. The silo is connected to the bag filter to make sure that the workshop is dust-free.
