The SLH double helix conical mixer is a new and efficient powder particle mixing equipment, widely used for mixing dry materials in industries such as petrochemicals, metallurgy and mining, pigments, pharmaceuticals, dyes, pesticides, food and feed.
This model has strong adaptability to mixed materials, does not overheat thermosensitive materials, and is not easy to crush and grind granular materials. Compared with materials with significant differences in heavy particle size, it can be mixed evenly without layer separation. It also has good adaptability to the mixing of various coarse materials, fine materials, ultrafine powders, and multi-dimensional or sheet-like materials.
This machine has a beautiful appearance, advanced mixing types, and reasonable structural design. Compared with other types of mixers, it has advantages such as fast mixing speed, high mixing accuracy, low power consumption, large loading coefficient, stable and reliable operation, good operating conditions, convenient cleaning and maintenance, and long service life. 2, Structure
The structure of the SLH mixer is shown in Figure 1. It mainly consists of five parts, including the cylinder, motor reducer, transmission mechanism, spiral part, and discharge valve part.

The double helix conical mixer is driven by a top electric motor to drive a two-stage double output shaft cycloidal pinwheel planetary reducer, which outputs two speeds of revolution and rotation. Through transmission distribution and gear transmission, the two spiral rails operate in a planetary manner.
Two asymmetric spiral axes rotate and move in a planetary motion along the simplified wall simultaneously. The short spiral moves closer to the careful area, improving the mixing at the center and achieving a fast and uniform mixing effect.
The transmission components of this machine adopt multiple channels. The multifunctional sealing structure can effectively prevent dust from entering the bearings and lubricating grease from seeping out and contaminating materials.
3, Working principle
The working principle of the SLH double helix conical mixer is:
1. The rapid rotation of the double helix lifts the material upwards, forming two asymmetric screw material flows along the cylinder wall and the middle white downward upward (Figure 2A); 2. The rotary arm drives the circular motion of the screw, causing the material outside the screw to enter the envelope of the butterfly column to varying degrees. Some of the material is lifted by the lead position, and another part of the material is thrown out of the screw column, thereby achieving continuous diffusion of the material in all circumferential directions (Figure 2B); 3. The two asymmetric materials lifted to the upper part converge towards the concave cavity, and the two material flows merge to form a downward flow, supplementing the holes of the bottom material and forming an asymmetric cycle (Figure 2C). Due to the aforementioned composite motion, the materials achieve uniform and high-precision mixing in a relatively short period of time.
