Plastic bottles belong to petroleum products, with 151 billion liters of oil used annually for the production of plastic bottles, equivalent to the annual fuel consumption of 500000 cars.
The Marine Research Foundation discovered in 2002 that there were 6 kilograms of plastic near the surface of each kilogram of plankton. In certain regions, this data may reach 30-60 times.
