17-4PH stainless steel properties:
17-4pH is an American ASTM standard. 17-4pH is a precipitate-hardened martensitic stainless steel composed of copper, niobium and columbium. The steel has excellent compressive strength, excellent corrosion resistance, excellent machinability and high material hardness. The steel has a compressive strength of 1100 to 1300MPa, and has the same corrosion resistance as 304 and 430.
17-4PH stainless steel physical properties:
1. 17-4pH melting temperature range: 1400-1440℃,
2. 17-4pH specific heat capacity: 502J/ (kg/℃),
3. 17-4pH density: 7.78kg/m3,
4. 17-4pH hardness: Yes
17-4PH stainless steel welding performance:
17-4pH can be welded by any method in the state of solution, aging or over-aging, without preheating before welding. If the weld strength is required to be close to the strength of steel after aging hardening, solution and aging treatment must be repeated after welding. The steel is also suitable for brazing. The optimum brazing temperature is solution temperature.
17-4PH stainless steel heat treatment process:
17-4pH solution temperature 1020-1060℃, aging temperature 480-620℃, 4h, aging temperature according to the requirements of use.
17-4PH stainless steel plate uses:
1. 17-4PH stainless steel plate is suitable for offshore platform;
2. 17-4PH stainless steel module is suitable for food industry;
3. 17-4PH stainless steel round rod is suitable for pulp and paper industry;
4. 17-4pH stainless steel is suitable for aerospace (turbine blades);
5. 17-4PH mechanical parts.
Because 17-4pH has good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance, it is also widely used in petrochemical, nuclear power, aerospace military industry, shipbuilding, automobile, medical and other industries.
17-4pH stainless steel material supply status and factory hardness:
17-4pH stainless steel rod/steel plate/round steel/round rod/steel/material/material/module supply state is pre-hard, factory hardness is about 37-40HBW.
