CWTD stud welding unit is controlled by a micro-computer, which joins
studs with base-material immediately by arc initiated through energy
discharging of capacities. It has features as follow:
Short welding time, arc time about 3-6ms, high efficiency, 16-20 studs could be
welded in one minute.
There is no bead, no welding trace, no color changing, less deformation in the
face of workpiece and no damage to the painting, Zn cladding or plastic coating on
back face of workpiece.
The strength of weldment is the same high as that of base-materials and studs.
Operating convenience, welding can be carried out just on one side of
work-piece.
Need not drill hole, no leak possible.
Can be used to weld carbon steel, stainless steel, copper and copper alloys,
aluminum and aluminum alloys and dissimilar metals.
The discharging voltage is monitored precisely.
The operation is interlock to avoid secondly trigger after a welding cycle.
Stepless adjusting setting voltage.
Self-diagnosis helpful for troubleshoot.

CWTD welding unit can be used in locomotive and rolling stock industry,
automobile manufacturing, shipping building, chemical industry, electric and
electronic manufacturing, instrument industry, kitchen articles and metal household
manufacturing and construction metal wall industry. It is suitable for varies metal
studs’ welding, as shown in table 1.
