Application RangWater-cooling rotary drum flaker is applicable for drying and flaking of various chemical materials.
Organics: Maleic anhydride, paraffins, asphalt, caprolactam, para-nitrochlorobenzene, catechol, pa radichlorobenzene, trimellitic anhydride, m-hydroxybenzyl, 1,8-diaminonaphthalene, dia mido- diphenylmethyl methane, N- Phenylmaleimide, trimethylolpropane, polyethylene glycol, octamyl-glycol, Polyethylene wax, polyvinyl acetate, TMP, paraformaldehyde, 12-hydroxy stearate, Triphenyl Phosphate (TPP), MS, chloromethane, etc.
Inorganics: Sulphur, sodium sulfide, rongalite, aluminum sulfate, calcium chloride, caustic soda, sodium bisulfide, etc.
Fine chemicals: 4010NA, 4020, RD, DTPD and other angiager; Aflux, Aktiplest, Z-80, plasticizer A, plasticizer B, and other plasticizers, RC series organic cobalt salt, MOCA, leather tre atment assistant, surface activator, plastic assistant, rubber assistant, organic palladium chloride, protective wax, etc.
Oil chemicals: Stearic acid and salts, fatty acid (alcohol) and salts, titanium dioxide, DMP-100, rosi n titanium dioxide, palm oil, etc.
Resin: F resin, tackified resin, terpenes resin, rosin resin, phenolic resin, polymerized rosin, epoxy resin, polyamide resin, petroleum resin C5-C9
Others: Hot melt glue, emulsion explosive, gelatine, beeswax, sodium fluosilicate, thermosetti ngmoulding material, rubber and plastic materials, decompression kettle bottom materi als, electronic materials, MDA, DTPT, compound nitro-fertilizer, compound nitrol-ferti lizer, PP high concentration compound ertilizer, etc.
Working principleThe drum flaking is a cooling crystallizing process; the melted material fluid in the tray will contact with the cooled drum and forms the membrane on the drum surface; then, the membrane will be cooled down through heat exchange between it and the drum wall. Subsequently, the cooled membrane will be cut into the flake, which can be widely applied for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. In addition, through the Flaker forming materials, the product is upgraded and approved by the chemical product market. In addition, as the equipment is with good stability and convenient operation, which applies the speed governing motor for stepless speed governing; select the drum speed and rational feeding speed in line with the flake thickness and chemical performance of raw materials, the machine is an ideal choice.
The heating mode of the equipment jacking can be classified into the electric heating and vapor or conduction oil heating; the quality of the part contacting with materials can be determined based on the user’s corrosivity requirements on the drum tray. In addition, the constant speed and speed governing motors of the drum can also be classified into the common type and electromagnetic speed regulation type.
Structure and Performance
1) Rotating drum
The drum is composed of a drum surface, end plates, a driving shaft, a driven shaft, a supporting ring and a reinforcing rib. The drum surface is made of 2205 type stainless steel, and the driving shaft and driven shaft are made of Q345R wrapping with 2205 type stainless steel. The drum surface is machined from a 2205 type stainless steel plate of thickness 16mm. The end plates of drum are made of 2205 type stainless steel plate of thickness 8mm, and are reinforced with Q235-B steel plate of thickness 20mm thick to ensure sufficient strength and rigidity of the drum surface. The roughness of the working surface of the drum surface and the end plates is Ra0.8. The concentricity of drum surface and the main shaft is ≤0.1mm, the radial runout over the entire length of the drum surface is ≤0.1 mm. The service life of rotating drum is 6-8 years.
2) Cooling system
Multi-channel cooling mode is adopted. It consists of semi-pipes, central pipe hole, an inlet pipe, a distribution pipe, and an outlet pipe. The material is S31603 stainless steel. The concentricity of the distribution pipe, inlet pipe and outlet pipe is ≤ 0.05mm, no internal or external leakage shall take place in the cooling system. The service life of cooling system is 10 years.
3) Scraper system
a)The scraper system is consisted of: main scraper, side scraper,scraper rack, scraper bar, scraper holder, adjusting hand wheel, positioning shaft, supporting seat, guide plate, upper cover and related accessories. All components are made of S31603 stainless steel. And there are 2sets of main scrapers and side scrapers.
b)Main scraper: is composited of 5 groups of scrapers, which is 12mm thick, the main scraper is positioned by a positioning shaft, the scraper shafts are supported by the bearing, is completed with handwheels for adjustment, all materials are 316L stainless steel.
c)Side scraper: is composed of scraper rack, scraper bar, scrper holder and the adjusting hand wheel, all are made of S31603 stainless steel.
d)The overall heat treatment of the scraper rack is adopted to prevent deformation after long-term operation.
e)Installation requirements:
1.when operation, the gap between the main scraper and the drum surface should be controlled within 0.15~0.4mm, and the gap between the side scraper and the side surface of the drum should be controlled within 0.5~1mm, and it is guaranteed to be properly scraped;
2. In addition to the proper design and processing quality of the driving gear, the gear is requied to be well-installed to ensure smooth operation, good lubrication and no leakage of lubricating oil.
4) Tray
It consists of a material try, semi-tube jacket, a feed inlet, an overflow port, and a condensate drainage outlet. The semi-tube jacket of the tray should be detected to meet the requirements of the working pressure of the steam. The material of the tray is TA9-1+Q345R/2+10mm titanium-palladium alloy composite steel plate, and the feed inlet and the overflow port are made of TA9-1, and the content of palladium (Pd) in the titanium-palladium alloy is not less than 0.18%, and the jacket and other nozzles are 20# seamless steel pipes.
5) Discharging hopper
It is made of 2205 stainless steel, thickness 5mm.
6) Rack
It adopts 20 # channel steel, carbon steel wrapped with 316L stainless steel of thickness 3mm.Guarantee the strength, rigidity and stability of the rack.
7) Main bearing and bearing seat: the bearing is from SKF company, bearing precision determines the rotation accuracy of the drum.
