Product Description Quiet operation ceiling mount ventilating fan rated for continuous running. It can help improve indoor air quality by venting moist air quickly outside, which eliminates problems associated with high humidity like mold and mildew growth, steamy mirrors,peeling wallpaper and paint. This fan equips with a humidity sensor which can track the ambient humidity level giving it the ability to turn on/off the fan automatically.

* Built-in 3-level ( 40-60-80 RH% ) adjustable humidity switch. When the humidity level in your bathroom rises above your pre-set point, the fan will be turned on automatically, when the room humidity level drops below the set point, the fan will be turned off automatically. The humidity tolerance is ±10%.

How to choose a bathroom exhaust fan The following guidelines are recommended by the Home Ventilating Institute (HVI). It will help you understand how to choose the right size and type of bathroom fan.
CFM A fan's ability to move air is measured in cubic feet per minute (CFM). The bigger your bathroom, the higher the CFM rating you'll need. A fan should have a CFM rating high enough to replace the air in your bathroom at a rate 8 times per hour.
SMALL ROOM ( 45 - 79 Sq. Ft )
For bathrooms 45 - 79 square feet, it is recommended you purchase a bath fan designed for small rooms, which will typically have a CFM range of 50-85.

SONE
The industry standard for measuring the amount of sound a fan makes when it's in use is called sones. The lower the sone rating, the quieter the fan will be. One sone is equivalent to the sound of a quiet refrigerator, so a quiet bathroom fan will be rated at about 1.5 sones or less.
