APPLICATION
XK24 series adopts one fixed crossrail. One ram type boring and milling head is mounted on crossrail.3 feeding axis and one auxiliary axis(table-X axis; boring and milling head-Y axis; ram-Z axis; crossrail-W axis; auxiliary axis: attachment magazine-U axis)
XK24 series can be equipped with various attachments. ( right angular milling head, universal milling head. lengthened spindle head and inverted milling head, etc. In a single set-up, it can finish internal and external 5 surfaces machining (boring, milling, drilling, reaming g, and tapping, etc). 3 axis simultaneous control for contour milling.
The main performance characteristics:
Automatic clamping of tool/attachment head by boring and milling head. Attachment head auto indexing(for model XK 2420 and above).Forward/backward tilting for double tool track prevention. Ram adopts hydraulic balance device; crossrail adopts auxiliary beam for load relieving. Table bed guideway and crossrail slide guideway adopt closed type hydrostatic guideway with multiple- point pump for oil supply. The machine is equipped with fully digital Siemens SIN NUMERIK 840DSL system. Main drive adopts AC spindle motor. All axes with relevant speed regulator and drive device are driven by AC servo motor. Each feeding axis adopts Heidenhain linear scale. The machine equipped with ATC (automatic tool changer) makes a double column boring and milling center. Product Parameters

This machine is mainly used for the processing of planes (curved surfaces) and holes. It is widely used in the manufacture of machine tools, engineering machinery, marine diesel engines, rolling stock, structures, mining machinery, electricians, steam turbines, aerospace, printing, textiles, molds, etc. Rough finishing of industrial (large) complex parts and milling of guide rails for large machine tools.
Machine configuration is of fixed gantry fram, table moves on bed.
An A.C speed regulation ram type vertical boring and milling head is mounted on the cross rail of the portal. There are 3 feed coordinate axes (arbitrary 3axes motion can be simultaneous).
