1. **Raw Material Preparation**
The first step in producing sealed maintenance-free lead-acid batteries involves selecting high-quality raw materials, including high-purity lead ingots, specially formulated sulfuric acid electrolyte, fiberglass separators, and durable, corrosion-resistant plastic casings. These materials undergo strict quality inspections to ensure they meet production standards.
2. **Lead Powder Production and Oxidation**
Lead ingots are processed into lead powder using specialized equipment, then oxidized to create lead oxide. This is a crucial step to ensure the battery's performance.
3. **Plate Manufacturing**
Lead oxide is mixed with sulfuric acid to create the active material, which is then applied to lead grids to form positive and negative plates. These plates are then dried in a curing chamber to enhance their stability and conductivity.
4. **Plate Assembly and Welding**
The positive and negative plates, along with fiberglass separators, are assembled in a specific order to form the battery cell. Fiberglass separators are highly absorbent, retaining the electrolyte while preventing contact between the positive and negative plates. The assembled plates are then welded together to create a solid unit.
5. **Battery Cell Assembly**

9. **Finishing and Packaging**

10. **Storage and Transportation**
