As temperatures plummet, rubber and plastic components undergo a transformative hardening process, becoming brittle and crystallized, thereby losing their natural flexibility. At this brittle phase, they fracture easily when subjected to external forces. The flash on molded products is thinner and becomes brittle faster in low temperatures. The cryogenic deflashing machine utilizes this principle. It operates during the critical period when the flash is brittle, yet the products maintain their flexibility. High-velocity projected special plastic media efficiently target and eliminate the brittle flash, ensuring no damage to the product.
