Product Description As the temperature decreases, rubber and plastic components undergo a remarkable transformation, becoming hardened, brittle, and crystallized. During this transition, they lose their natural flexibility, making them susceptible to breakage under external pressure at brittle temperatures. The flash, typically much thinner than the molded product itself, becomes brittle faster than the main product when exposed to low temperatures. Utilizing this principle, the cryogenic deflashing machine operates within the critical timeframe where the flash is brittle, while the product retains its innate flexibility. By using high-speed projected special plastic media, the machine efficiently targets and eliminates the brittle burrs, ensuring the flash is removed with ease while preserving the integrity of the product.
FUNCTIONS
Our state-of-the-art machine is expertly utilized for the precise removal of flashes from small rubber and plastic components, such as O-rings, gaskets, and other molded parts.
Employing sophisticated cryogenic processing technology, flashes are initially frozen and subsequently eradicated through high-speed projection media, specifically Polycarbonate blast. This process significantly enhances the surface quality of molded rubber and plastic parts.
